Do I have to sell my car to the insurance company at their suggestion?

"Im thinking about renting a vehicle. Inside the price offer it claims simple auto insurance is roofed but reduction isnt that is unwanted. does anyone understand what this is? How could it be do u know when the extra reduction insurance can be compulsory and not the same as the essential auto  insurance
